Apple Valley Celebrates 25 Years with History Expo and Open House

The reception included visits from past mayors, councilmembers and town managers, who posed for photos to the delight of attendees. A long list of proclamations came from local cities, county and state reps.

Town department staff was on hand to answer questions and display projects and services offered.

There were photos, memorabilia, literature and some colorful characters giving some living history on local pioneers. There was informatoin on modern day (1940s) founders Newt Bass and Bud Westlund and the most famous residents, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, as well as many other important people in history.
