Trunk or Treat Attracts 25,000 for Safe Trick-or-Treating

Trick-or-treaters were excited to go from car trunk to car trunk, and booth-to-booth during Trunk or Treat, an annual Halloween event for kids. The event, which started out as a small classic car show 15 years ago, has grown to attract about 25,000 attendees. It was held at the Victorville fairgrounds (now called the High Desert Event Center).

The children were decked out in their favorite costumes, along with some parents who said they like that it’s a safe alternative to trick-or-treating on the streets.

Classic cars and information booths from local businesses came prepared with tons of candy for the children, knowing that the attraction gets bigger each year.

The event’s presenter was El Dorado Broadcasters puts on the show, promoting it on their radio stations Y102, Kat Kountry 100.7, 106.5 The Fox and Talk 960. The main sponsor was Auto Park at Valley Center.
