Over 200 cars were on display in front of the Solera Fire Station and Mariposa Lodge at Jess Ranch on Saturday, October 18.
It was the annual Sun City Cruisers Car Club Oktoberfest celebration and fundraiser.
There were hamburgers and bratwurst, plus music, a beer garden, raffles and lots more fun for attendees.
There were safety displays inside the fire station, and demonstrations including one where a dummy of a dog is used for practicing resuscitation from smoke inhalation on pets.
The car club selected High Desert Homeless Services to benefit from proceeds. They have been assisting residents of the high desert since 1988. The shelter provides meals, clothing, toiletries, plus the use of a telephone, address, shower and laundry facilities.
