Think you’ve seen everything? Not until you attend a potluck put on by the Border Collie Rescue group!
On October 25, a Doggie Fun Day was put on by the group, with costumes galore… not worn by humans, but by many of the pooches in attendance!
There were several “skele-dogs,” plus a Pharaoe-pooch, jester, fire dog, pumpkin, and some themed kerchiefs.
The sandwich buffet was popular with the humans while doggies enjoyed an abundance of treats.
If you are a border collie enthusiast, you may want to consider joining this group.
Some of the activities include rescue, fostering and adoption of these beautiful, good natured creatures. They help with hoarding situations, working with the hoarder to humanely rescue the dogs.
Many times, rescued animals are injured and need treatment. Border Collie Rescue of California, Inc. collects donations from the public to help defray the costs of medical services and in many cases, surgery for a dog.
