VVC Foundation's 40th Anniversary

The Victor Valley College Foundation celebrated its 40th anniversary on Thursday, July 9 with a Donor Impact Expo showcasing the impact that donors to the foundation have had on local programs.

Information booths were set up around the lake at the college, and included the Nursing Program, Aviation School of Technology, Public Safety Training Center, Restaurant Management, Hesperia High School Engineering Robotics, Veterans Resource Center, Emergency Medical Services/Fire Academics, Model United Nations, Media Arts, Child Development Center, Scholarships and more.

The Donor Impact Expo was held from 7 to 10 a.m, and was followed by an anniversary program and installation at the Victor Valley College Performing Arts Center.

Victor Valley College Foundation Emeritus Council members, Foundation Past Presidents, President’s Circle Members, outgoing and incoming 2015-2016 Board of Directors Officers and Directors, Committee Chairs, Foundation Staff and Friends of the Foundation were all honored during the anniversary ceremony.

Outgoing Board President Don Brown, and Incoming Board President Eric Schmidt both spoke about accomplishments and plans for the future of the foundation.
