Each year the community of Wrightwood holds Mountaineer Days, and people from all over the High Desert and from down the hill enjoy the cooler air.
This year’s event was held over the weekend of July 10-11, and featured many activities and all sorts of fun and unusutal vendor booths.
Some things we’ve never seen before included neckties made out of wood, a flea market with lots of fun vintage items for sale, a beard and mustache contest, and much more.
On Sunday, the Hometown Parade was held for the crowd’s enjoyment. Haywagon rides were given regularly throughout the weekend.
A beer garden, pizza joint, and other restaurants were kept busy catering to attendees.
The fresh mountain air smelled fantastic, and it looked like everyone was having a great time.
