United Way Mini-Golf Tournament Kicks Off Campaign

The Desert Communities Region of the Inland Empire United Way held it’s 2015 campaign kickoff with a Garden Party at Scandia.

The theme, “Plant a seed and watch it grow,” featured a miniature golf tournament with teams of golfers raising money for some great causes.

Teams sported their favorite “Garden Party” costumes, with Moses House Ministries winning first place in the contest. There were acknowledgements to board members and sponsors, and a great bunch of door prizes were given away.

During the kickoff, Stater Bros. donated $7,000 to Inland Empire United Way, Desert
