On July 15, a ribbon cutting was held by the Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce for the High Desert office of C.A.S.A. of San Bernardino County.
Cesar Navarrete, Executive Director of C.A.S.A., was on hand to accept numerous proclamations and honors from local officials praising the good work done through the organization.
Across California, thousands of C.A.S.A. volunteers build close relationships with foster children and serve as their advocates.
In San Bernardino County, approximately 4000 children live in foster care, and the need for volunteers is greater than ever. C.A.S.A. volunteers are trained to offer foster youth and juvenile offenders stable and consistent advocacy and mentoring.
This non-profit organization can help turn a vulnerable youth build a life of hope. Volunteers have worked with thousands of youth in San Bernardino County since 1984 and are proud of their efforts.
